Most Smoky Mountain elopement "locations" are an overlook for an hour. Big Lodge Weddings is different: a private 12,000 sq ft lodge with its own chapel, yours for three nights or more. Say your vows with just the two of you, or bring everyone who matters. There are 9 bedrooms and room for 56 to stay, with no event fee on top.

Pricing, Plainly
The whole lodge is $5,400 for a three-night weekday stay or $6,000 over a weekend, plus tax and fees, with no event fee. Summer (June 1 through August 31) and holidays are $2,500 a night or more, and Thanksgiving and Christmas carry a longer minimum stay.

Bring Your Own Team
This is a DIY venue, which suits an elopement: you choose every person involved. Book the officiant, photographer, florist, hair and makeup, or a private chef you like, or bring people you already know. Tennessee also makes eloping simple. There is no waiting period on a marriage license from any county clerk, and it is valid for 30 days.
